Professor Ralph Smith, Biology Department - University of Waterloo

Rainforest and Reef has for many years provided all the in-country arrangements for the field course in Neotropical Ecology that I offer through the University of Waterloo. Our groups of 19-20 individuals have been well cared-for, and have received excellent guiding and transportation in a wide variety of locations in Costa Rica. The level of service is very professional and warm. We have always felt secure and confident in our travels and in our dealings with the company.

Hamish Duthie, Emeritus Professor of Biology - University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

I have led introductory field courses in tropical biology in Costa Rica for many years. These courses are listed with the Ontario Universities Program in Field Biology, and students are regularly from five or more Ontario Universities. Itineraries were organized by Rainforest and Reef Costa Rica following consultation with myself, and generally included visits to different natural sites or biological reserves.

Rainforest and Reef Costa Rica arranged accommodation, meals, travel by Coaster minibus and the services of a guide/naturalist. Planning was always exemplary, and the field courses ran smoothly; rates were very competitive. Especially, I was always impressed with the expertise and enthusiasm of our guide/naturalists. The course has gained a high reputation and every year we have more applicants for the course than we can accommodate.

I have also used the services of Rainforest and Reef CR in planning adventure, photography and naturalist trips in Costa Rica. I received excellent advice on locations and accommodations for these specialist groups. I would not hesitate to use their services for future trips.

Celeste Newcomb, MBA - The Pennsylvania State University

Rainforest and Reef helped us design a state of the art health care program, helping us gain access to hospitals and clinics in Costa Rica.

For five years in a row, Rainforest and Reef has delivered a well-run program. Our program sells out quickly. This is due in large part because students come back from a fantastic experience in Costa Rica and tell their friends to sign up for next year! Thank you Rainforest and Reef!

I want to thank you for all that you did to ensure that our trip to Costa Rica was superb. Costa Rica was a great experience for us and we are looking forward to returning in the future. We all came home with Costa Rica (and Costa Ricans) in our hearts.

Thank you again – I appreciate all that you did to make this course a success!

Pura Vida.
